Load your Film

 

Get ready to shoot: 

Step 1:

Press the latch on the side of the camera down and open the camera back door. Lift up the film rewind crank and place a new roll of 35mm film into the film chamber. 

Step 2:

Push the rewind crank back into place. Pull out the film from the film canister and hook onto the holes onto the film take-up spool. Advance the film by turning the film advance wheel.

Step 3:

Ensure that the film lays flat against the centre of the camera and close the camera's back door.

Step 4:

Continue to advance the film by turning the the film advance wheel until it stops. Press the shutter button. Repeat this procedure one more time. The film counter will now show the number "1", and the camera is now ready for taking pictures. 

 

Want to use the flash? 

Step 1:

Open the battery door at the bottom of the camera.

Insert one "AA" alkaline battery into the battery chamber. Make sure the battery is inserted according to the correct polarity. (See the + and - indicators inside the battery compartment) 

Step 2: 

Switch the flash button at the front of the camera to the flash position. Wait for the Flash Ready LED to glow. Once the Flash Ready Light glows, the flash is read for taking pictures.

 

Finished your roll of film?

Step 1:

After all the your pictures are taken, press the rewind button located at the bottom of the camera. Turn the film rewind crank clockwise until all fil is re-wound back into the film canister. 

Step 2:

Open the camera back door. Lift up the film rewind crank and remove the film for processing. 

Step 3:

Find your nearest or favourite film lab for developing!
